Founder and Principal
Susan B. Levy
Susan has over 35 years of global, cross-functional experience in the consumer healthcare industry and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of CHPA, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association..
Prior to founding SBL Consulting Group in 2011, Susan worked in Corporate Strategy at Merck & Co. where, she worked directly with Merck’s CEO and his leadership team to create and evaluate white space opportunities to deliver long-term, profitable growth. She is certified in Strategic Planning by the American Management Association.
Before Merck acquired Schering-Plough, Susan served as Senior Director, Global New Ventures and Strategic Commercial Development for Schering-Plough Consumer Healthcare, where she was responsible for US and international in-licensing of new technologies, acquisitions, alliances and Rx to OTC switches.
From 1996 to 2004, Susan worked at Warner-Lambert/Pfizer. Her marketing assignments there included global marketing for Visine, and both Rx and OTC marketing for Nicotrol.
Susan began her career in R&D at both Unilever and SmithKline Beecham where she worked in product development and portfolio analysis roles.
Susan received her BA in Chemistry from Cornell University and attended NYU’s Stern School of Business for her MBA.
In 2020, Susan was recognized as a Top Woman in Health and Wellness by DrugStore News. Susan was named a Leading Woman Entrepreneur and Business Owner of New Jersey in the October 2014 issue of New Jersey Monthly magazine.
Senior Managing Consultant
Carisa Held
Carisa is an experienced, passionate brand marketer with a proven track record of managing consumer health and wellness products. Prior to SBL Consulting, Carisa worked on a variety of brands from the iconic Johnson’s® Baby brand, to over-the-counter brands, such as Neosporin® and LamisilAT® brand. She was also on the brand team responsible for switching Prevacid24HR® from Rx-to-OTC, leading the consumer communications work stream.
While at SBL Consulting, Carisa has led a myriad of strategic marketing, business development and Rx-to-OTC switch projects on behalf of clients. She has conducted strategic marketing for a brand which involved leading a claims development and packaging redesign project that was heavily rooted on research, helping clients with brand and technology divestitures, and has helped develop business cases for potential Rx-to-OTC switches.
Carisa received her MBA from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.

Amy Levine
Amy is a marketing leader with a wealth of experience in the consumer healthcare industry. She has managed top consumer healthcare brands including Coppertone, Solarcaine, Bain de Soleil, A&D, Dr. Scholl’s, Revlon, Colgate and Speed Stick. She is a strong analytical thinker with a proven track record of driving growth by leading category changing new product launches, brand vision/equity development and innovative advertising and marketing programs.
At SBL, Amy has led a number of initiatives, focusing on strategic planning, brand strategy, market assessment, launch planning, market research, brand acquisitions and divestitures.
Amy received her MBA in Marketing and Finance from the New York University, Stern School of Business and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colgate University.

Jennifer Stern
With incredible attention to detail, strong organizational skills, creativity and problem solving skills, Jennifer manages the business operations of the company and makes it possible for the team to function efficiently for the benefit of our clients.
Prior to joining the team, she spent 11+ years in the events industry. She has successfully managed the events department at The Rockefeller University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and Freelancers Union. Jennifer received her M.E.S.S. in Sports Management from the University of Florida and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Albany.

Angela Vann
Angela Vann is a seasoned senior marketing & innovation leader with a proven track record in consumer health and wellness brands as well as medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining SBL Consulting, Angela led the digestive wellness innovation pipeline strategy at Sanofi CHC and launched Dulcolax Chewy Fruit Bites laxative, 2023 Product of the Year (Kantar survey). Previously, during her tenure at Bayer Consumer Care, Angela revitalized brands like Alka-Seltzer and Alka Seltzer Plus Cold and achieved significant growth with the acquisition and relaunch of Citracal Calcium Supplement. She has also driven growth organically and through consumer-driven innovation for numerous other brands at Bayer, such as Bayer Aspirin, Midol, Flintstones, One-A-Day Vitamins, RID and Bactine.
Angela’s experience at Bayer Pharma included leading the global launch of a new oral contraceptive with an innovative compliance-aiding medical device as well as pioneering initiatives, such as the Betaseron Virtual Assistant, and working with the FDA to advocate vitamin D usage to prevent or reduce the progression of Multiple Sclerosis.
Angela holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BA in Economics and Finance from Transylvania University.

Daisy Wong
Daisy Wong has extensive marketing experience at leading OTC and nutritional health companies such as Nestle Health Science, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (now Haleon) and Unilever, building iconic brands like Nature’s Bounty, Centrum, Advil, Slim-Fast and Dove.
Prior to joining SBL, Daisy was the Senior Marketing Director for Pure Encapsulations, the leading professional supplement brand at Nestle Health Science, where she drove the marketing strategy across HCP and DTC omnichannel and accelerated growth. At Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, Daisy led the Global Innovation Strategy for the Rx-to-OTC switch brand Nexium, and developed a Global Disruptive Channel Strategy targeting low out-of-pocket consumers.
Daisy holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Manchester Metropolitan University.
